So here it is…..early December.
Thanksgiving has flown by. My sister came to visit and although she was here 3-1/2 days it felt like only a day. Our time together was wonderful!
I said I would have a DIY post on my fabric ornaments and it’s now almost 2 weeks later. Time really flies! I guess I’ve been waiting to have them on our tree with some pictures for me to complete my post (at least that is what I’m saying as my excuse). We will be decorating the tree tonight! Pictures will be taken and I can finally finish up my post that I’ve been wanting to complete.
Until then I thought I would leave you with a few things I’ve done around the house.
I redid my ornament wreath and used the colors white, gold and silver(those are the colors I’m making this Christmas to be). I now have it hanging up in my kitchen.
I used various sizes of ornaments that I found primarily at Hobby Lobby and Wal-Mart this year and last.
This year I added a different shape of ornament other than the round for added interest on the top layer.
It just gives so much sparkle, I just can’t help but look and look at it every time I walk by.
I also made these fabric cone trees that I have in our niche area above our TV. There so are not perfect and I might even redo some of them after Christmas is over, but for now they work. I grouped them with holiday greenery, white magnolias and coordinating ornaments.
My kids have been dying to decorate the tree and are so excited for tonight. Until then…
Thanks for reading!
Bye for now.
Very Nice!!! Mom
